AFI Week in Abuja

From 16th May 2022 until 20th May 2022, our CEO, Jörg Kottenbrink, attended the 7th Edition of the AFI Week in Abuja, Nigeria. He was pleased to participate in its first conference of the year where he was able to meet face to face with EMPIC’s African customers as well as interested regional authority delegates.
 
As the Host of the AFI week and EMPIC’s newest community member, Captain Nuhu Musa, the Director General of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, expressed his commitment to EMPIC and shared his thoughts with ICAO Secretary General Mr. Salazar that future ICAO USOAP audits will result in much higher scores or as he was joking, that ICAO doesn’t even have to come anymore for auditing as EMPIC-EAP^® is implemented in Nigeria from now onwards.
